Configuring Pet Policies

The Pet Policy menu allows properties to set up housekeeping patterns, pets, and animal services. To see the Pet Policy option the property must first enabled the Pet Logic flag in the Feature Switches section of the System Defaults (Settings à System Setup à Other System Switches/Defaults à System Defaults) screen.

Perform the following steps to create a housekeeping pattern for pets:

Navigate to Settings à System Setup à Pet Policy.

Enable the This Property Allow Pets flag.

Click Create Pattern.

Refer to the following table and fill in the details:

Field	Description
Pattern Code	A unique code to represent the pattern. It can contain up to 6 alphanumeric characters.
Pattern Name	A name for the pattern. It can contain up to 50 alphanumeric characters.
Room Type	Select the preferred room types from the Room Type drop-down list.
Source Code	Select the preferred origin codes from the Source Code drop-down list.
Number of Nights	The number of nights for which the pattern is to be created.
Service Based on Days
Arrival Day	Select the housekeeping services for the pet that must be carried out on the arrival day.
Days 2 to 7	Select the housekeeping services for the pet that must be carried out on the days other than the check-in and check-out days.
Checkout Day	Select the housekeeping services for the pet that must be carried out on the checkout day.

Click Create.
